SHORT/LONGFORM VIDEO PRODUCER / CINEMATOGRAPHER / EDITOR

Matt Lewis is an award-winning cinematographer and editor who works primarily in music video production and documentary film. He has been doing business as Sound Flash Films for over 12 years, working with artists, musicians, individuals, and big businesses to produce video content and contribute to longform productions. With over a decade of cinematography and film production experience under his belt, Matt brings an arsenal of storytelling tools and ideas to every project.

Matt has worked in corporate and indie spheres as a video editor, assistant editor, DP, assistant camera op, film colorist, 2D motion graphic designer, web designer, VFX designer, photojournalist, STEAM instructor, YouTube/podcast distribution manager, and edit workflow consultant. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and their two cats and he works full time in video and digital journalism — as does his wife, Larissa.

Everything featured on this site was directed, shot, edited, and color graded by Matt Lewis. He is in the process of producing an original feature film.
